Facebook

Can someone please help me? I was coerced by Lisa and Beth Hughes to join facebook. Ok, they didn't really twist my arm, but they invited me to be their friends. I thought I already was, but I joined to prove my loyalty. They said, "come on, it's the 'myspace' for adults." Well, I want to be an adult, so I joined. Now, people are asking me to be their friends and writing on my wall. I don't even know how to respond to people or write back. I'm clicking on the links and assuming my messages are going through.

I must confess, and some of you already know this, but I joined myspace a while back under a fake name just to look at people. I find is so fascinating to read about people I have known from my past and see what they are up to. Hmm, maybe the premise behind these sites. Anyways, I got overwhelmed just with the myspace thing. I mean, Mena had all this music and backgrounds and it looked all fancy. I was intimidated and glad I just had an alias so I didn't have to keep up with anything.

Now, with facebook, my real name is out there, and people are contacting me! I thought I was so savvy to have this blog. But I guess facebook trumps blogs these days. I mean, it's a full time job to keep up with all of these things. And some of you have blogs, myspace accounts, AND facebook accounts! I think this evidences my personality in that things in my life must have order. To keep up with all of these sites feels disorderly to me, thus is causing me anxiety, thus causing me to blog to help relieve that stress.

So, if you are disappointed with my facebook responses (and lack of picture) I'm sorry. I will work on it slowly. In the meantime, please email me with instructions of where to start.
